UNEA-6 was preceded by a meeting of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives from 19 to 23 February, which laid the groundwork for the session.
In the lead-up to and during UNEA-6, from 26 February to 1 March, Member States were encouraged to showcase effective, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution in line with the UNEA theme. The information shared is listed below.
